DRAFT RULES FOR REVIEW:: The Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV), Title Support Section has four new proposed administrative rules in Chapter 4501:1-13 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC). Stakeholder comments may be submitted to through 11:59 p.m. on August 22, 2018.
Proposed Rule 4501:1-13-03 Certificate of title for imported motor vehicles.
Proposed Rule 4501:1-13-04 Materials incorporated by reference.
Proposed Rule 4501:1-13-05 Notations on a certificate of title.
Proposed Rule 4501:1-13-06 Cancellation of certificates of title.

IMPORTANT: The Dealer Licensing System, which includes the temporary tag reporting, will be unavailable on August 27, 2017, due to system upgrades. All Web-Enabled (WE) dealers will need to manually issue temporary tag registrations and report the registration information within 48 hours. For more details regarding the temporary tag manual registration process, you may contact the Dealer Licensing Section PRIOR to August 25, 2017, and speak with one of our customer representatives at (614) 752-7636.
